...also known as absolute bliss. Our kids had the best time this Thanksgiving, and it was so nice for us to have a little break and head down to the grandparents for some quality family time. We also had a surprise visit from my sister, so they had just finished two days of spoiling and unlimited amounts of quality time before we left, lucky kids. We love seeing family, wherever they travel from, and are lucky to have a few close enough to see once in awhile. Tony P. idolizes his teenage boy cousins, and I'm pretty sure I didn't see my girls for more than 5 minutes in two days. In addition to all the fun, we had a very nice moment one night, where we all sat in a circle in the living room and said something we were thankful for about the person sitting to our left. It was a great way for all the kids to feel appreciated, and nice for the grown-ups to think about why they are grateful for the person beside them. During all of this warm, fuzzy thankful time, Tony P. figured out that he was sitting on my lap, and therefore he would have to say why he was thankful for me. He waited very patiently until Grandma had a chance to say why she loved him, and then hopped off my lap and headed right over to PWL. He wouldn't come back and say something nice about me, but proceeded to share about 8 reasons why he loves his dad so much. Even after coaxing from his dad to then also say something nice about his mom, he wouldn't do it. His list of things for dad included playing cars, tiger fighting, wrestling, and basically all the things he loves to do. I guess kids don't rate clean clothes and food in the fridge as very high on their gratitude list...sigh. Anyway, it was a great weekend, and after doing some serious catch-up this week for missing a Monday, we have arrived at Friday again, and that is something to truly be thankful for!

Thanksgiving
What do you get when you combine 3 turkey dinners, grandparents, cousins, and a park full of fallen leaves? This...
